New Hope Missionary Baptist Church has a dynamic Couples Ministry who meet during the months of January and February to plan some special activities for celebration of Valentine's Day!  Chairpersons are Bro. Ellis and Dr. Donna Stevens. All married, engaged and dating couples are invited to join the annual Couples Choir during the Valentine celebration. The couples are invited to join the choir whether they are singers or not. They only need to be willing to learn the songs, Praise the Lord and share with other couples. Choir rehearsals occur over a one week prior of time in preparation to sing that following Sunday Service. Couples minister in song during both Sunday Services. Couples are also invited to participate in activities during both services. 

After the Couples minister in song, they are invited to complete the exciting day by attending the Sweetheart Banquet (tickets for purchase are required). The Couples Ministry team diligently works to create an unforgetable evening.  A "Class A" restaurant is selected offering exquisite dining; the tables are graced with beautiful decorations; the mood is set by the tunes of a live band and/or DJ; and, a professional photograph is our gift to each couple to help them remember the special evening. Activities continue throughout the evening to celebrate the Valentine theme of "Love."
