Rays of Hope Choir
The Rays of Hope (formerly known as the Mass Choir) of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church is the combined choirs of the church with the exception of the children's choir. The Holy Ghost filled singers of the Rays of Hope Choir love to serve the Lord in song. The spirited sounds of Hymnals, Contemporary Gospel and selection of songs, leaves the congregation uplifted and full of hope. The Rays of Hope Choir have talented directors who help lead the choir in ultimate praise. They are: Sister Judith Thomas, Sister Rhonda McIver Jackson, Sister Mattie Parrish and Sister Verlinda Irvin.
The choir rehearses on Tuesday and Thursday before first Sunday and Thursday night before the third Sunday. They sing the first Sunday all day, third Sunday at 10 a.m. and during special occasions.
